Tags: What Are They For?
Tags are colour-coded labels you stick on devices to slice your inventory however you actually think about it — Loaner, Spare, Development, R&D, Executive, Damaged. They give you a fast visual cue on every tile and table row, and they drive the Tags filter chip on the Devices page so you can pull up a tagged subset in two clicks.
Create a New Tag
Tags are color-coded labels that help you slice and filter your inventory — think Loaner, Spare, Development, R&D, Executive, or Damaged. Unlike the comment field, tags drive the Tags filter chip on the Devices page and appear in the Dashboard's Tags summary.
Tags Page Overview
The Tags page is where you manage the set of labels available across your tenant. The header tells you how many tags you have, the left panel lists them, and the right panel shows which devices carry the selected tag.
Delete a Tag
Remove a tag that is no longer needed. The devices previously carrying the tag are not deleted — they just lose that one tag.
Assign or Remove a Tag
Tags are applied directly from the device's information panel — no dedicated page visit required. A single device can carry multiple tags at once (for example, Development + Loaner).
