Category and Metadata Display on Devices

Categories and their metadata are visible in several places throughout the Devices section:

• In the Devices menu, both Detail and List views show the category in the information panel on the right. If the category has metadata, it appears below the category name with a blue background.

• In Detail view, the category is displayed at the bottom-left corner of the device tile.

• In List view, the category appears in the Category column.

When the Show properties value in device name toggle is enabled in the Edit Category page (see Create Category Metadata), metadata values are appended to the device name in List view.
