Move a Device to Another Tenant

Transfer a device from the current tenant to another one in your organization — for example, when an employee relocates from the Budapest office to the Berlin office, or when equipment is moved between business units.

How to move

  1. Navigate to Devices and select the device you want to move.
  2. In the top action bar of the information panel, click Move.
  3. In the Move Device dialog:
    • Select the destination tenant from the dropdown. Only tenants you have access to are listed.
    • Toggle Keep barcode on if you want the existing barcode to follow the device, or off to let the destination tenant regenerate one using its own barcode settings.
  4. Click Move to confirm. The device disappears from the source tenant and appears in the destination tenant's device list.

Permissions

Moving a device requires administrator privileges in both the source and destination tenants. If you don't see certain tenants in the dropdown, ask your organization administrator to grant you access via Settings → Users & Roles with a Global Role.
